Borrower Defense To Repayment Application Process
Dear Brooks Graduate,
This page is dedicated to helping those who are interested in having their loans forgiven through the Borrower’s Defense to Repayment Act (BDTR) through the Federal Government’s Department of Education (DOE) because we believe Brooks Institute participated in fraudulent activity during their time there. In order to facilitate the process of applying for loan forgiveness we (previous alumni, former students and families of students as well as co-signers) created this page, it contains resources and materials necessary to apply for loan forgiveness through the BDTR Act which is through the Department of Education. Within this group you will find articles, lawsuits, proof under the files tab and other materials but I encourage you to add your reasons for applying to loan forgiveness and add your stories. The more people that apply the more credible our argument becomes and as stated by previous alumni, Brooks is a school that the Department of Education is looking into. We are just a group of people who went to Brooks Institute at some point and have organized to make a space to help each other submit, we don’t guarantee our loans will be forgiven as we are not attorneys just previous students and family members like you.
Directions to apply are as follow:
